What began as a successful bid in 2021 has since evolved into a multi-country, multi-year partnership of delivering brilliance across borders for GJEPC — a true reflection of CONFEX’s ability to deliver not just events, but lasting value.
Our ongoing collaboration with the GJEPC — through the International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS) and Jewellery Arabia — is more than just a client relationship. It’s a story of trust earned, markets unlocked, and standards consistently exceeded.
It Started in Dubai
Our journey began in October 2021, when CONFEX was entrusted with the complete execution of the inaugural IGJS event in Dubai. It was a large-scale, turnkey assignment:
Exhibition production — floor marking, booth fabrication, branding, and custom stickering
Hospitality management — hotel bookings, registration flow, and guest experience
High-profile social events — from elegant gala dinners to vibrant networking evenings
Every aspect was managed in-house, on an aggressive timeline, in a highly competitive international setting.
Expanding the Footprint: Bahrain & Saudi Arabia
After Dubai’s success, GJEPC’s trust in CONFEX grew — leading to expansion into new markets including Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Each country presented new challenges: regional regulations, vendor ecosystems, logistical complexity. But CONFEX adapted quickly, proving our ability to operate seamlessly across borders and deliver consistent quality — no matter the landscape.
